Week one working with St Albans Day Service

Recently St Albans Day Service were approached by the local community nurse team regarding raising awareness around health & wellbeing. They asked if we would like to co-run a 5 week cookery course with Sarah Scotland (Nutritionist).
 
One aim of the course is to identify how to make our favourite meals in a healthy, nutritional way, whilst still making them tasty to eat!
 
Today was week one. Ten people who use our service along with day service & supported living staff embarked on making Sweet potato & lentil soup and homemade rolls. It was fab to see how keen everyone was to participate and learn.
