Are you a Social Prescriber
or a Doctor’s Surgery?
Social prescribers and GP practices are at the heart of our communities. They help connect people to the support, activities, and information that help improve health and wellbeing. We’re here to work alongside social prescribers and GP practices, offering clear, practical information and easy-to-use resources about food, nutrition, and healthy living. Together, we can help individuals and groups make positive, lasting changes to their wellbeing. Through our fact sheets, training materials, and community projects, we aim to share knowledge, build confidence, and strengthen connections around good food and health.
If you’re a social prescriber or a practice manager, we’d love to work with you — explore our resources or get in touch to see how we can support your work.
Meet and Eat Workshops

Workshops focused on mental health and combating loneliness are essential for a patient's well-being, especially as they age. At Wise About Food, we offer "Meet and Eat" workshops and provide guidance for new mothers on nutrition for both them and their babies. Support can be incredibly beneficial, helping them establish a healthy and nutritious diet early on. We also work with groups who are supporting someone living with dementia and those who are living with dementia.
Sarah, works with patients from diverse backgrounds and abilities and can adapt her courses to meet any specific needs that may arise.
